Can-Am Aerobatic Competition in Hanover
« on: August 03, 2011, 08:39:32 AM »

Aerobatics Canada will stage its international aerobatic competition at Saugeen Municipal Airport, Hanover, Ontario (CPN4) on August 27th and 28th.

Contest director Larry Ernewein is looking forward to aircraft arriving from southern Ontario and the United States for the Upper Canada Open competition. Hanover has been past host to previous Can-Am Challenges, and provides a fantastic acro-flying environment.

A recent meeting with Hanover airport representatives has set our sights high for the event. Many people involved with Saugeen Municipal Airport and surrounding community are looking forward to seeing the annual contest revived, and are working together with Larry and the directors to make the comeback a success.

The Hanover contest will host categories from Primary to Advanced, an all aerobatic competitors are welcome to attend. This contest will be a great opportunity to get into the sport for the first time, or get back into the sport in the Southwestern Ontario area.

If you don’t fly acrobatically come to Hanover and watch the spectacular flying for the two days.
