RCMP looking for a Fixed Wing Pilot

Salary: $75,546 to $86,945

Experience
A minimum of 3000 hours of fixed-wing flight experience.
Experience as a prerequisite, candidates must provide a photocopy of the last three pages of their pilot's logbook.

They fly a variety of aircraft, two of which are nice birds, like the PC-12, but even better than that is the Piaggio Aventi. All their pilots are civilian staff, quasi-public service. Although they say they aren't public service, the RCMP civilian staff operates much the same way with similar rules. Would be a good job, but it's very very hard to get in. They usually know who they will hire before they put out the ad. However, I threw my name in the hat just in case!

There's a funny story about how the RCMP got the Piaggio.  Apparently they were told they couldn't have a jet under any circumstances ....
