Newcommers to the site, come in and say hi !
« on: April 28, 2010, 01:26:02 PM »
Should we have a newcommer section, or topic? It would be nice to have everyone registering for the first time, to introduce themself in a post under a specific Topic...

What do you all think?

Pete, is that the body painted Air New Zealand uniform?

Martin

P.S. Thanks for the good training.
P.P.S. Do you log aerobatics time on every flight since you're flying down under? ;D

Hi Martin

Yes the ad you are talking about is the Air NZ ad.  All the people in it are employees of the company!! The outtakes are quite funny especially the ones involving the stewardesses  ;D

Glad you enjoyed the training, you were a great student...hope to see you this August when I am back visiting

HEHE I am actually from Ottawa originally and did my Multi-IFR and Instructor rating at RFC before teaching there for about 2 years.  In 2006 I left for NZ (my wife is a Kiwi) and am now flying for Air NZ..

I heard about the site on the RFC page, I like to keep in touch with things back home and am in touch with Simon every now and then.  Also have lots of friends in Canada flying

Brand new on here, but been reading some threads now and then. Decided to finally join the fun, share some experience, and occasionally stir some discussion.

Ex RFC instructor from 2002 to 2006, then flew Islanders, Caravans and Twin Stars at Sander Geophysics in various places around the world for a couple of years, and now I fly a DASH-7 for the United Nations via Voyageur Airways.

Looking forward to keeping the banter up on here!
